The debate forum of The Danish Arbitration Association

The debate forum of The Danish Arbitration Association 16 November 2011

The debate forum is the Association’s forum for discussion of arbitral issues and is considered a supplement to other meetings and events.

It is the idea to create a forum within the Association where members may exchange views and ideas on arbitral issues. The forum is thus another possibility for members who have the time and the desire to dedicate themselves more intensively to arbitral issues.

At the meetings of the debate forum one or more members will give an introduction which will provide the basis of further discussions. Non-members may also be invited to participate as introductory speakers. The topics could be a general issue or a specific case. It may also be a draft article or just some ideas nourished by the introductory speaker for the purpose of the meeting.

All members of the Arbitration Association are welcome to participate. They are expected to contribute actively in the discussions and preferably also as introductory speakers. For all intents and purposes the number of participants in the meetings will be kept at a reasonable level.

All meetings will be announced at the website of the Danish Arbitration Association and participants must register with the coordinator.

Coordinator of the debate forum is Ole Spiermann.
